Designed by Bill Lewis and dating to 1975, this 18-hole, par-72 course offers five sets of tees ranging from 4,278 to 6,570 yards, with a 132 slope and 71.7 rating. Tree-lined fairways, mature oaks, and miles of streams and lakes frame a tranquil, yet challenging round. Signature holes include the par-3 3rd, a 185-yard carry over water, and the par-5 9th double dogleg with water left, right and center to a three-tiered green. The back nine is a fan favorite, and wildlife adds to the serene Sarasota ambiance. Bent Tree offers practice nets, a fully-grassed short-game area, and lessons from a professional staff. It’s an easy walk, with encouragement to carry or use a push cart. Note: as of 2/1/2025, the Grillroom and Bar are temporarily closed for renovations; the Beverage Cart remains daily.
