Harvey Penick Golf Campus is a PGA TOUR-designed, 112-acre public golf escape in East Austin, just minutes from downtown, the UT Campus, and the airport. Located at 5501 Ed Bluestein Blvd, this accessible facility is owned and operated by The First Tee of Greater Austin, a non-profit teaching life skills and healthy choices through golf. The campus offers a 9-hole par-30 course, an 18-hole footgolf course, and one of Austin’s most affordable public practice facilities, featuring a grass-only driving range, a 3-hole short course, and multiple practice greens. Despite its proximity to urban amenities, the course sits in a tranquil, heavily wooded setting along Walnut Creek, delivering a country feel. Named for Harvey Penick, legendary instructor and author of the Little Red Book, the campus honors his love of teaching golf and the game’s enduring values.
