The Chateau Course at Chateau Elan Golf Club is the marquee 18 of a 45-hole resort in Braselton, Georgia, about 45 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. Designed by Denis Griffiths in 1989 and refreshed in 2016, this par-71 layout plays up to 7,030 yards and tests golfers of all abilities. Unique features include more than 80 bunkers, three lakes, two creeks, and water hazards spanning ten holes, plus large TifEagle greens that roll true. The back nine rewards accuracy with pronounced elevation changes amid rolling terrain and abundant wildlife.
Managed by Troon, the course delivers consistent, year-round conditioning on tree-lined fairways with generous bailout areas. Practice facilities include a driving range, chipping area with bunker, and multiple putting greens. The clubhouse hosts a top-tier pro shop, renovated locker rooms, and Sarazen’s restaurant overlooking the 18th. While Chateau Elan Winery & Resort offers overnight options, staying isn’t required to play. For a memorable round, book through GolfWithBrio.
