Cave Creek Golf Course, arguably Phoenix's most popular municipal track, delivers championship-caliber golf that's fun and environmentally friendly. Born from a 1983 landfill reclamation project, this Jack Snyder design stretches 6,876 yards from the back tees, a Par 72 of immaculate character. Wide fairways, a creek winding through the layout, and water hazards on select holes define the course, with large, raised, undulating greens demanding precision. The eighth is the No. 1 handicap hole—a long, straight Par 4 at 434 yards. The finishing stretch begins with a Par 5 and ends with a dogleg-left Par 4, highlighted by the 203-yard Par 3 17th, a scenic hole framed by a pond and bold bunkers. Partial cart paths coexist with a strong walking option. Practice facilities include a grass driving range, a short-game area with a bunker, and a practice putting green, plus on-site instruction. The clubhouse hosts a golf shop and daily restaurant service. Centrally located in north Phoenix at 15202 N. 19th Ave., 85023. Book via GolfWithBrio.
