Located a half-hour north of downtown Austin near Cedar Park, Avery Ranch Golf Club opened in 2002 and quickly became a premier daily-fee course in Texas Hill Country. The layout winds through a residential setting, yet near Brushy Creek you’ll find a more natural, secluded feel. The terrain is classic Hill Country—elevation changes, rolling hills, limestone caverns, knobby live oaks, and meandering streams and lakes that invite curiosity on every hole. Designed by Andy Raugust, who gained experience at Nicklaus Design, the course favors forgiving slopes, sweeping bunkers, and tree-lined corridors that reward accuracy. Greens are large with distinct sections for creative pin positions.
At 7,121 yards from the tips, with four other tees and two hybrid options, Avery Ranch challenges players of all levels. Five par-3s and five par-5s, including back-to-back 14th and 15th, add strategic variety. Notable tests include the par-3 13th with a creek and limestone wall, and the 18th, a par-4 beside Lake Avery to a narrow green. TopTracer driving range, chipping and putting greens, and a clubhouse with views overlooking Brushy Creek. Book via GolfWithBrio.
